On most days, I prefer to tell stories, as they work harder than numbers. But in this case the numbers were so persuasive – we made them the story.

Between 2014 and 2016, representatives on both sides of the aisle took $2.8m from gun lobbyists, and more than half of the 535-person legislature boasted an “A” rating from the NRA.
