In a stimulus-rich world, the abundance of information creates a poverty of attention.

As a creative director, I see my role as that of an usher, who helps organization’s cut through the noise and direct their audiences attention towards the signals.

Whether it’s creating a video game to dramatize the pervasive threat of ransomware attacks or demystifying supply chains with the help of a Michelin starred sushi chef – it’s the thrill of posing the unasked question, embracing the uncharted process, and the pursuit of the unobvious answer that drives me.

Over the years, I’ve applied this approach to projects for several global brands. Bloomberg, Smirnoff, , HSBC, Royal Caribbean, Huawei, Ford and IBM to name a few.

Projects that have ended up on ebay, featured during the Super Bowl, racked up millions of views on Twitter, and archived in the permanent collection at MoMA.

Creating things makes my dopamine receptors happy.

And sometimes when I am lucky, these aforementioned things succeed in making people smile, tear up, or go do something.

It’s not complicated.

“I have known Dinesh for 15 years and worked together for many of them. Dinesh is a dreamer. And importantly he’s also a doer. He can conceive of castles in the sky. And, uniquely, he can then build them! He’s a true gentleman; bags of integrity, substance and character, with a strong set of values and an openness to great ideas, big and small. I truly look forward to working with him again one day, should I be so fortunate.”

Gordon Gerard McLean, Group Strategy Director, Apple

“Dinesh is one of the smartest people I’ve ever worked with: thoughtful, conceptual, brilliant. He is an excellent problem solver who interrogates briefs to find opportunity. He is incredibly hard-working and never drops a ball. He strives for breakthrough work and has zero discomfort with complexity. His skills range from brand to CRM to digital to experiential. He’s also one of the best human beings I’ve ever worked with: pragmatic, calm, generous, empathetic, respectful. You’ll quickly find that he holds himself to very high standards…and in my humble opinion, he consistently exceeds them.”

Jeff Curry, Director, Creative Studio, Google Cloud

“Innovation always comes first with Dinesh. He approaches problems by thinking about them front to end, and asking himself what can be created to remove consumer pain points.”

Dustin Duke, Principal Creative Director, Amazon Brand Lab

“Dinesh combines creativity with an ability to collaborate. It always felt that we were solving problems together. While Dinesh always made me and everyone around him better, his humility really fostered deep truth and partnership. I found Dinesh to bring the ability to think radically, but always in the service of the business outcome and the creative problem. One of my favorite collaborators…and teachers.”

Hersh Chaudhry, Vice President, IBM Innovation Studio
